Briarcliffe Gardens Memory Care Assisted Living was a close second in the four places I went to. It does not have a campus, but their assisted living building is only four months old. They have first floors with the doors leading outside, the door to go in and out of their aspect is different.
This establishment reported they were going to call the police and have me arrested because I asked to to have my paperwork back. Paperwork that I was coerced to sign and that wasn''t fully explained.

The two closest hospitals are Our Lady Of Fatima Hospital, which is 3.9 miles miles away, and Roger Williams Medical Center, which is 4.3 miles miles away from the facility. Placing a loved one who had suffered a stroke and was suffering from dementia into a nursing facility was a difficult endeavor. We feel extremely blessed to be able to do so in a facility that guided us through the process and addressed both physical as well as emotional needs. Briarcliffe deals with both their patients and the families with respect, compassion and professionalism. The facility is set in a very tranquil and relaxing environment. I will continue to recommend Briarcliffe Manor to friends and family.
Mansion Nursing Home
The so called doctor on staff, whoever he or she is, doesn’t visit the patients. My loved one never saw a doctor the 3 months they were there. The place is not sanitary , although they make you take a Covid test to go visit. They treated my loved one like they had dementia…kept telling them different stories and lies… Yes Iam angry because my loved one spent 3 months mostly stuck in a room. A room that was not pleasant, no pictures, no place to display cards or flowers or anything someone may want with them. I even had to ask them to change the ripped blanket on the bed.
They have 122 beds and a daily average of 74.4 residents . Briarcliffe Manor participates in Medicare and Medicaid and are classified as a For profit - Corporation ownership. They do not belong to a continuing care community. At all times, certified nursing homes are required to pass over 180 rules designed to protect the safety and well-being of the residents of nursing homes.

My heart aches for those that have no one looking out for them…. It is totally disgusting….so glad my loved one is home.. I had to put a star to post…..lol desperate place.

I don't remember seeing a lot of amenities, but their grounds are large with many buildings, so each level of care, memory care, nursing, are all in separate buildings. I didn't find the sales staff readily able to help. It is worth mentioning that Medicare pays for what they deem as 'medically necessary' skilled nursing care.

Older people don’t want to eat at 7 pm… always cold and not very nutritious.we brought our own in. Only bring old clothes you don’t care about because they loose them…. Access to health care is an important consideration when selecting a nursing homes community. There are 13 hospitals close to Briarcliffe Manor.
